And as you can see, they are still jack-hammering and digging and repaving and making a mess out there on Main Street...and the Orange Conehead dudes are still staring at me.
Maybe those industrious folks across the street read my blog? Did they think I was being critical?
What do you think? Do you prefer reddish-pink or blue walls along the steps?

How strange! I doubt they read your blog, but why did they repaint them? What would have been the motivation? I actually liked the other colors much better. Yup! See what happens when you go away? Well, you have orange cones patrolling the streets, at least--hehe! :):)
I liked the blue better. It was a nice contrast.
I think the OCHA'S snuck in and read your post and are telling on you. I liked the blue walls better and, although I didn't go back and check, I'm pretty sure each color had a meaning, which made it all the more special.
Now run across the street and tell them to change it back ;)

I saw the coneheads in front of your office last week when we drove down Main Street.
I like the blue, but I think this is the third color change since June. I am sure that when we first got back they were pink? In fact after being at the Farmer's Market on 4th of July with my mom, I drove her by there to show her the pink steps and that was when I saw they were blue. Of course she was probably thinking I was crazy! Tara did confirm for me that I am not (well at least not in this case)... that she remembered them being pink too!

I'm a big fan of bold, bright colors but only when they are used correctly.
I liked the blue.
They certainly do get your attention. You can't miss the church, can you?
I prefer the blue too, but I can see why the change so it matches the doors.
I think I prefer the red really. They both look a bit incongruous but the red is less so and having read that other post you linked to (with close ups) the colours are clearly important to the church goers.
It looks like such a colourful place to work as well - now you have the whole rainbow spectrum out of your office window!
I enjoy watching films in other languages too (although I'm not lucky enough to have special channels like you). European cinema is much more odd than American/British so it's less predictable sometimes.
(Yes, I know I've been vanished for ages. Hopefully I can just blend in here again and it'll be like I've never been away... :D)
If it was a bit more redder I would agree with that color so I will have to go with the blue..Hugs
Definitely the blue.
I'd go with the blue! you can't let those orange coneheads get the best of you! remember they are just plastic and basically lifeless personalities and you certainly are neither (lifeless or plastic personality :)
