That said, this week's game is the big one though, and anyone with a pulse in the United States has to know Super Bowl Sunday will soon be here.
Supported by fans waving yellow and black "Terrible Towels" thought to bring them good luck, the Pittsburgh Steelers are returning to the "big game" yet again. The Phoenix Cardinals will be appearing for the first time ever.
Perhaps they will make a new Super Bowl edition of the Terrible Towel. I hope so, sort of, kind of... :)
I'll be watching the cheering ladies and thinking about Lainie and George myself and being silently wishing them the best of luck on their new life together!

I'm with you on the stadium thing! If they can afford such large salaries, surely they can spare a bit of money to build a stadium! Same goes for players of some other sports mind you.
I love pro football...however I am not a big Steelers fan or a Cards fan..so I don't care who wins LOL
I'm happy as long as Dallas ain't in it cause I despise them (yeah I know I live in Texas, but that don't mean I gotta like the Cowboys)

Technically the Cards haven't appeared in a Super Bowl, but they did win the NFL Championship back in 1947, back before the merger between the NFL and AFL.
I will be rooting for the Steelers, and I know I have a Steelers sweatshirt here somewhere. I just have to find it. It must be buried underneath something, and I just can't see it.
Will be toasting Lainie and George tomorrow too! What time are the nuptials?

American football is a bit of a sissy's game with all that padding and crash helmets...... real men play rugby and the only padding they have is a nut box LOL

We have a SOUPerbowl weekend at church.. we ask for donations to our soup kitchen... people are generous
