Easter Menagerie - Frankie's Sister Zoey

Early last month I wrote about Frankie the German Shepard Poopy.

A few weeks ago, my parents brought home his sister, Zoey.

Sometimes I have to wonder about my parents - they have rarely had less than three pets underfoot... I think they might of had as many as ten once (if you count rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and/or guinea pigs) along with the usual menagerie of cats and dogs.

But, awww, she's so cute, how could you resist? :)


I think she is about 9-weeks old now. She still staggers around a bit when she walks since her feet are much too big for her body. I'm sure she'll grow into her legs and feet soon though.


My parents live in a small residential area and everyone of their neighbors has a dog (or two or three). Here Zoey dashes off to say hello to Mitchell and Rosie, a brother-sister pair of Rhodesian Ridgebacks as well as Monty the mostly black mutt.


Molly is my parents older, more mature, German Shepard. She seems to be unfazzed (and unamused) by the youngster's antics. She has always been very well-mannered and supremely patient around young kids (human or dog).


You may remember Pumpkin the Chest Sitting Cat. I begged him to pose "pretty" for me but he ... well, typical cat!! :)


Chippy the Himalayan is not much brighter than he looks. This cat does nothing but eat, sleep, grow hair (and hairballs) and umm, recycle cat food. But he's pretty cute too. :)


My neice enjoys all the animals and was having a great time playing with them all. Here she plays "tug-a-stick" with Zoey, who isn't quite sure how the game is played yet. Perhaps Molly will teach her.
