I was unable to determine what became of my Mother's childhood "long walk" friend posted previously. However, she mentioned another childhood friend that was last seen at her wedding 57 years ago. After a couple hours of "pigheaded" sessions with Google, I found the woman's daughter-in-law and an email address! My mom spoke to the daughter-in-law and will talk to her friend soon. I guess batting 50-50 isn't too bad.
The year 2015 will include some big changes for me. The office was put up for sale and the first two months of 2015 will be busy with sorting through years of stuff and moving.
No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't afford to keep the building.

Best wishes with the process of the sale and moving. Sometimes, it's so much more rewarding to focus on the specialty you are equipped to do so well...having to tangle with the overhead of business only takes you away from what you are built to do best...but still, it's hard. Here's hoping you find a buyer willing to pay a good price, in just the right time frame for your business' needs!

Isn't the internet grand? Sometimes. I recently located a friend I haven't seen in close to 25 years. Of course, she doesn't know I've found her, but I'm going to send her some photos of her folks I found in an old box. Her folks are both gone, so hopefully getting actual mail in the mailbox with these old images will make her day.
