An Old Favorite

Sad News

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokie Pokey," died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in

As you can see, these are great pictures! So, you can tell I got them from friends. :-) The first two came from a good chatter2chatter friend Punkn and are pictures from out in West Virginia. I think the bridge picture is SPECTACULAR!



New River Gorge Bridge, a steel arched bridge near Fayetteville, West Virginia. It extends over the New River, which is thought to be one of the oldest rivers in the world. Thank you Punkn for sharing this with me and with everyone else!



I got this one from a friend in Montana.. Not every day you see someone run a $300,000 tractor off a road at a bridge no less. I figured it would wake you up after looking at the pictures above :-)
